Cute little place. Went on a weekend and was able to get seated right away. They weren't packed but were definitely busy but our server was very nice despite seeming to be a little overwhelmed. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the strawberry waffle. The chicken in the chicken and waffles had wings and a thigh I think, which was not what I had expected (usually I thought they were strips). Was a lot of chicken, but I would have much preferred no bones and white meat personally. The strawberry waffle was definitely my preference over that. Food was good but not outstanding. Would go again though to try other menu items.
Came here in the morning with my sister and mom to enjoy some breakfast. My mom raved beforehand that she had come here before for brunch with some coworkers. The service was quick and welcoming. We were abled to get drinks within a few minutes and our order taken. After a while the food comes out and my jaw hits the floor. That tower of chicken and waffles was crazy and the daddy cakes were massive! And that sweet strawberry syrup with whole big strawberries was mind blowing for someone who has only ever really tried dennys and ihop. Anyways, the place wasn't too big or too small. The decor was super cute and spot on at bringing the vibes they were aiming for. Family friendly, silly and fun. Parking lot situation wasn't that bad and the place wasn't busy surprisingly. We came in around 9:20am so we either missed a rush or this place needs more recognition!
I came across Daddy Waffles when I was looking for brunch places. The aesthetic of it caught my eye and my bf also loves waffles. We went on a Monday morning and were attended quickly. I loved the music they were playing ! Great taste! As for the food, our total came out to about 50$-60$ I believe. I enjoyed my waffles and loved the slices of cheesecake on it. I'm not so crazy about the strawberry jam ( or whatever it is called) that was on the waffle. I simply just slid it off. I also ordered bacon strips and it was delicious. The waiter asked if my bacon was fine and I said yes, but she asked me again. I wasn't too sure why she asked until later when I went back to it , I noticed it was a bit "raw". It's okay though, I appreciate how the waiter noticed and asked if I wanted it crispier :)
My toddler and I had brunch here a few weeks ago. The place was bigger than I had expected. It was clean, plenty of seating and the interior design was beautiful. As we entered we were greeted and was told to sit anywhere. Keylee was our server and the only one taking care of the the rest of the diners at the time of our visit. She was really attentive, kind and outgoing. She presented me with the menu and told me about their kids menu (since it wasn't available at the time we were there). She gave my daughter crayons with paper to color. I ordered the Daddy's in a Blanket and orders my daughter a Mickey Mouse waffle plate from the kids menu which came with eggs and choice or protein. The food came out so quick and it was all hot. The food was good. Nothing really special. Portions were large. Might have to order their waffles next time. Keylee also gave my daughter a complimentary cupcake. Might return if in the area since they are located on the other side of town from where we live.
Daddy Waffles is a great place to go eat. Yes they were closed for a few weeks while the owner handled some personal issues, but on Oct 25, I know they were back open. Sad, the business journal wrote a story saying they were closed down without ever talking to the owner. That is sad. I have been going there for years and the food is good, staff are friendly.
